El Dorado - Port Mourant 1999 70cl Bottle
El Dorado have released the limited Rare Collection range which open up the unparalleled collection of rare and precious single marque aged El Dorado rums. A bouquet of Pot Still molasses based aromas with dark chocolate/toffee, smoke, aged tobacco, coffee, molasses, mild anise and vanilla aromas with hints of sweet cut grass. The flavours continue where the aromas left off, with smoke, charred wood, tobacco, peat, mild licorice and again the fruity molasses. The body is medium heavy, with a slight alcohol taste for delivering the flavours with a finish of charred wood and mild licorice. Port Mourant - Wooden Double Pot Still - rum from this still is used in El Dorado 15 Year Old.
